Spa and Swim Spa Curbside Delivery Details
For curbside deliveries, we will contract a third-party freight carrier. The freight carrier will not move the items you have purchased to a desired location. The delivery address must be tractor trailer accessible. Curbside drops cannot be on double-yellow-lined roads, streets without exit routes (i.e. no cul-de-sacs or dead-ends), and no gravel or dirt road addresses. If it is determined by the carrier it cannot be dropped off, you will be responsible for picking it up within 3 days at the carrier’s terminal or paying rerouting fees to the closest Aqua Living store for pickup. It cannot be stored with the carrier without the customer paying for storage. If you have any questions about this, please reach out to your sales representative.
All curbside delivery orders process automatically and cannot be rerouted to a different address nor paused or held once they leave the factory. Curbside shipments cannot be delayed or scheduled for specific calendar dates. If it is not noted on the original order, all units will ship as soon as they are available to ship. If you are unable to accept delivery after it ships, you will be legally responsible for any reconsignment and/or any costs or fees associated with changes in destination.
The freight company will call you to schedule a delivery appointment when your items arrive at the closest destination terminal. Even with a lift-gate service, most products require 2 to 6 people at the time of delivery to remove the product from the truck.
It is critical that you thoroughly inspect your product while the delivery agent is still there. We recommend that you carefully remove all packing materials, without using any sharp objects to do so. We ask that you compare the items you received with the items that are listed on the delivery receipt. If everything has arrived and is in good condition, sign the delivery receipt, which the driver will give you a copy of. If items are missing, please notate this on the delivery receipt and contact your sales representative, who will verify those items will be shipping to you.
All missing items must be reported within 10 calendar days of delivery. If your spa arrived damaged, refuse the delivery only if the acrylic is damaged or the damage is extreme. If damage is limited to the spa cabinets or cover, do not refuse delivery. Be sure to notate the damaged portion of your items on the delivery receipt and notify your sales representative, so replacement items can be procured.
If you accept delivery of a damaged item and damage isn’t noted on the delivery receipt, you will be responsible for the cost of replacing the item and all applicable shipping charges.
Shipping insurance is available for a nominal fee at the time of purchase; it cannot be purchased after the item ships. Shipping insurance covers the cost of parts that were damaged but not visible upon reasonable inspection at the time of delivery. Shipping insurance covers the cost of replacement parts and the applicable shipping charges only, not replacement of the entire item.
Aqua Living Factory Outlets is not responsible for any changes to the delivery schedule due to inclement weather, force majeure situations or any unforeseen mechanical delays. It is important to understand that the delivery time frame is estimated.
Customers are solely responsible for any necessary permits or code requirements prior to delivery.
